Through my previous administrative roles, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that spans team management, project coordination, scheduling, and client relations. My background, while rooted in the arts, has equipped me with a unique perspective on administration, blending creativity with structure to ensure smooth operations and effective outcomes in various organizational settings.

Leadership and Project Management:

In my previous roles, I led teams of both staff and students, overseeing daily operations and long-term projects. As a Musical Director at Class Act Preforming Arts Studio, I managed large-scale productions involving upwards of 90 students, ensuring everything from rehearsals to final performances ran smoothly. This required meticulous attention to detail, as I was responsible for coordinating schedules, managing conflicts, and delegating tasks across departments.

At Spotlight Theatre Arts, I directed the summer camp, coordinating activities for multiple students and interns. During this time, I had to resolve last minute challenges, manage shifting priorities, and handle logistical concerns, all while ensuring high-quality outcomes. These experiences sharpened my ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure deadlines were met consistently.

Office and Technical Skills;

In addition to my leadership and project management experience, I bring a wide range of essential office skills that ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of any organization. I am proficient in managing both physical and digital tasks, from handling paperwork to leveraging the latest technology for communication and organization.

I have extensive experience with both Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), using these tools for tasks such as drafting documents, creating spreadsheets, tracking data, and preparing presentations. I’m also highly skilled in Canva, where I’ve designed flyers and promotional materials, balancing creative flair with professional design standards.

I’ve consistently used enrollment and registration software to manage student records, payments, and schedules. Maintaining organized and accurate records has been critical in my roles, and I’ve ensured data is up-to-date and easily accessible. I’m also accustomed to a variety of administrative tasks like printing, copying, and preparing materials for events and classes.

Additionally, my customer service extends to answering phones and emails professionally, ensuring effective communication with clients, parents, and staff. My ability to manage high-volume communication while keeping a friendly and helpful demeanor has made me a reliable point of contact in previous positions.

Organization and Scheduling:

In my administrative roles, I’ve handled intricate scheduling demands, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Whether organizing classes, appointments, or production timelines, I’ve proven adept at creating systems that prioritize efficiency and flexibility. At Class Act, part of my Directing role required me to oversee complex schedules, ensuring all parties had access to clear, organized plans. My attention to detail and forward-thinking approach helped maximize time, even through scheduling conflicts and disruptions.

Additionally, I’ve assisted in managing client registrations in previous roles. This involved both back-end-work-tracking registrations, handling payments, and organizing data-and front-end customer service. I’m skilled at maintaining detailed records and utilizing databases and scheduling software to ensure up-to-date, accurate information is always available.

Client and Customer Relations:

In front-facing administrative roles, I excel at delivering exceptional customer service. At the front desk in previous roles, I was often the first point of contact for parents, students, and community members. I handled inquiries, resolved concerns, and provided support. I’m known for my strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate challenging conversations with diplomacy while ensuring clients feel heard and valued.

My ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and staff has been a hallmark of my administrative experience. I understand the importance of building trust and rapport, and I’ve consistently delivered a high level of service, ensuring clients are kept informed and their needs met in a timely manner.

Versatile Administrative Experience:

While much of my experience has been in the performing arts, the skills I’ve honed-leadership, organization, client management, and problem-solving- are highly transferable to any administrative role. I’m eager to apply my extensive background to new challenges in corporate or nonprofit settings, where I can leverage my ability to drive operational success and client satisfaction.
